Welcome to The Hudstead
Our story began in 2018, when our family made the decision to trade the hustle and bustle of life in Myrtle Beach for something quieter, simpler, and a little closer to the land. We found our slice of heaven in Great Falls, South Carolina, and The Hudstead began to take shape.
What started as a dream of building a small family farm has grown into a place we’re incredibly proud to call home. Today, we raise Nigerian Dwarf goats, Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dogs, chickens, and ducks while creating handcrafted products inspired by life on our farm.
Our Nigerian Dwarf goats are at the heart of much of what we do. Their milk goes into our growing line of handcrafted goat milk soaps, lotions, and personal-care products, made in small batches with ingredients we carefully select.
We also raise Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dogs, bred with the traits that matter on a working farm—intelligence, loyalty, confidence, and natural guardian instincts. Along with our goats and dogs, we offer farm-fresh eggs and other seasonal goods from the homestead.
At The Hudstead, we’re building more than a farm. We’re creating something our family can be proud of and sharing a little piece of our farm life with families throughout the Carolinas and beyond.
